An Upcycling Business

L.UC.I.D was developed as a project for my creative thinking class. My classmate Aline Siqueira and I worked together to create a business plan, website, and a small demo of how the company would work with the University of Delaware faculty and graduate students in our program.

Lost in Debris Mermaid

Public Awareness Garment

Inspired by the mystic mermaid and to end ocean pollution, the Lost in Debris Mermaid was born. The clamshell-like bra was created with garbage scraps found washed up on the beach and laser-etched denim pants with symbols showing dead fish and toxins.
