Lost in Debris Mermaid

The bra design was created using the free form embroidery method. On scraps of muslin fabric, thread the department already had, and scraps of garbage found on the ocean beach I used the sewing machine to stitch chaotic lines of three different colors to give the symbolic effect of ocean waves and garbage. The denim pant was laser etched with a design symbolic of toxic waters and dead fish. For a finishing touch, the hem of the pant gives a jellyfish vibe.
